Over the last 12 years, I have had the immense fortune to have worked with some amazing people on  awesome projects for supportive clients. I have been incredibly lucky.

I started out with the dream to be a Industrial Designer. To emulate David Lewis and his work at Bang & Olufsen. I realised after my first stint at Michael Anastassiades that although I loved the creativity, the intricacies, the engineering restricted me.

Then came work on the brand, and the website. I knew straightaway this is where I wanted to be, so I did what any good designer does...I pivoted. I challenged myself and through all the opportunities that have come to me, I still do.  

I always believe in growth. I love being wrong and getting hard feedback. Design is to be meaningful and so with every project that I involve myself in, I strive for that.

I believe in giving back but I always wondered how? But 2020 was something else. A time when the world changed, and many were lost and abandoned. I wondered what would I have done if this happened to me? Community. Being part of something where I had support.

So I engaged. I joined the Amazing Design People List, and met 100+ amazing designers, looking just for a chance. Thankfully, many got it. I even got the opportunity to be a part of their Coffee Hours (#7) which was really cool.

Through the Fearless community, I became the Sweden lead and I have been striving to build a better community. One that supports everyone. I have met some amazing designers.

Now at McKinsey, as part of the design leadership in the studio, I help drive events such as recruiting campaigns and our internal meet-ups to support all of our designers worldwide. All as well as being a mentor where I can be to some of the most stellar designers around. It's a lot of fun!
